Traditional Marquees
Traditional marquees are the type that everyone thinks about. These use
large steel stakes, ropes and poles to keep the marquee erected.
Marquees of this style used to be made out of heavy cotton based
canvas, this is no longer the case.
The traditional marquees we supply
are made from very high grade PVC coated polyester, this material is
far superior as not only is it inherintely fire retardant, it doesn't
seep water through and is considerably easier to clean and maintain.
Our marquees are available in widths of 40' (12m) and 50' (16m). The
length of the marquee is made using sections of 20' and these can be
increased almost indefinitely.
The amount of guests you can comfortably seat in our marquees depends
entirely on the size, the table below is a guide to this. The seated
number is calculated using tables of eight at a 5' round table.
This is only a guide, as items such as dance floors, stages, bar areas
etc. will reduce the number. Please contact us and we can give you a

As with all our marquees, we can fit full wooden floors with carpet to
the marquee to give a firm and flat base so the grass underneath
doesn't affect your guests. We can add doors and window sides to allow
easy access without drafty flaps.
